Volunteer

Citizens Advice Rutland has relied on professionally trained volunteers to provide 75% of the work force to deliver our service to the Rutland community.

Trustee Vacancy

Could you give around 12–15 hours a month to help shape and guide a vital local advice service?

We are looking for Trustees to join our Board and help provide strategic leadership to Citizens Advice Rutland, ensuring we can continue delivering essential advice services to people in our community, now and into the future.

Why get involved?

Do you want to:

  • Develop your own skills through a rewarding voluntary leadership role?

If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

About the role

As a Trustee, you will help:

  • Help secure the resources we need to continue our work

This is a volunteer role, but all reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.

What we’re looking for

We welcome people from all backgrounds and experiences. You do not need previous trustee experience or experience in advice services, although it is helpful.

We are particularly keen to hear from people who can bring:

  • Fresh perspectives and lived experience
  • Professional or personal skills from any sector
  • A commitment to supporting local communities

We are committed to building a diverse Board that reflects the communities we serve.

What we offer
