Citizens Advice Rutland has relied on professionally trained volunteers to provide 75% of the work force to deliver our service to the Rutland community.

  • I get a real feeling of satisfaction from making a difference, especially for people less able to stand up for their rights.

  • The Citizens Advice service challenges the social issues I feel passionate about. As a trustee I can help redress the imbalance of injustice.

Current Vacancies

Citizens Advice Rutland are looking for volunteer receptionists to help ensure the smooth running of our office. We’re looking for friendly, organised people to be the first point of contact for our clients. Your main responsibilities would be:

  • Greeting visitors and offering assistance
  • Answering calls and taking client’s details
  • Inputting client information on to our digital spreadsheet
  • Basic admin tasks (filing, checking emails etc)

We’re currently looking for volunteers on a Thursday and Friday and no experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
